Day 5: Tongeren to Rheinbach – 3 Countries….

Today's ride from Tongeren to Rheinbach was made special by the company of our friend Christiaan, who joined us along the route.
With the weather finally on our side, we enjoyed a smoother ride through picturesque landscapes, appreciating the camaraderie and shared purpose. Christiaan's presence added an extra boost to our spirits (and speed) as we continued our Journey to Zero.
Crossing from Belgium into The Netherlands and then soon after we were cruising through Aachen, and Germany welcomed us…. It feels like Munich is within reach.
We had the longest day today coupled with the most climbing and my legs were feeling it. Lucky Frank Dekker and Christiaan van de Kolk MBA paced me along and with 45km to go I found my legs again…..
Arriving in Rheinbach, we felt a renewed sense of energy and optimism (with a well earned G&T). Each day brings us closer to Munich and our goal of promoting sustainability and renewable energy.
Thank you for following and supporting us. Onwards to Day 6 - see you on the road.
