2025 Recap - Day 10

Day 10 to Alttann — a tough, tough day where the weather seriously tested us.

We set off this morning in driving rain and strong winds, battling through grim conditions all the way to Lake Constance. Spirits were damp, quite literally and our bikes caked in mud, but crossing the lake brought a much-needed shift in the weather. 

On the other side, we were greeted by the amazing Sören Zieher and Alex from hashtag#VPACEBikes, who not only welcomed us warmly but escorted us uphill all the way to Ravensburg, where coffee and cakes were waiting.

Some of us got a little lost (or left behind) on that uphill stretch (no names…) and some of us wisely called it a day at the VPACE showroom. A few of the others dug a bit deeper and climbed the final 19km up, up, up to the hotel in Alttann.

The weather wasn’t our friend today, but new friends were made and the shared experience brought us even closer together….. (for some of us)!!!
