2025 Recap - Day 6

It’s day 6 already! Nancy to Saverne — over 100km of riding along the Marne river, through some of the most peaceful and picturesque scenery so far.

Today was a gift: no major hills (until the last kilometre!), smooth trails, and the chance to really soak in the surroundings. We’ve now arrived in the Alsace region, known for its lovely wine, beautiful villages, and blend of French and German influences; a perfect backdrop for our reflection and renewed energy.

After several tough days in the saddle, today reminded us that progress doesn’t always have to be punishing. Sometimes it flows, just like the river beside us. Tomorrow we head south at our halfway point, we are another day closer to Munich.
