2025 Recap - Day 9

Day 9 and we’ve arrived in beautiful Schaffhausen.

It was another lovely (and hard) day in the saddle, hot, sun-soaked and full of stunning scenery. 

The route gave us some debates today about which roads / cycle paths to take and we formed a few different groups to see which route would suit everyone’s personal taste. I managed some rolling roads and great scenery with a few busy roads thrown in; but I have a growing sense of momentum as we edge closer to Munich. 

Schaffhausen is gorgeous and the roar of the nearby Rhine Falls was the perfect place to end today’s ride. Spirits are high (ish), legs are just about holding up and the shared sense of purpose is stronger than ever.

On we go, Munich is just around the corner and tomorrow we meet our friends at VPACE Bicycles GmbH
