Glass of Champagne anyone?

Our Journey to Zero took us from Château-Thierry to Saint-Memmie, right through the heart of Champagne country. Riding past the vineyards and grand Champagne houses of Épernay was stunning. There is nothing like the thought of a cold glass of bubbles to keep the pedals turning. Today we had time. So everyone chilled out and we found a steady rhythm as we cycled along the Marne River for most of the day.

I should say that this ride isn’t about indulgence; it’s about intention :-) Every kilometre we cover is a step towards raising awareness for a more sustainable future. The landscape may change, but the mission stays the same: zero emissions, maximum impact.

I’m grateful for stronger legs today, clearer skies and the lovely people riding alongside me. Munich is still a way off—but we’re getting there, one crank at a time.

Special thanks to Paolo my new cycle coach and the award for most combative rider goes to Joachim Rupp today. He took the wind for us for hours!

See you on the road.
